In a very short time, since our launch, we have been asked to speak at a number of wonderful events that, not only launched our mission, but transformed it as we learned from all of you. You could say the conversation occurred on a number of stages. We are looking to round out our video offerings over the next months.
In May, 2010, we launched our non-profit as a part of the community organized by our founder, Corpus Operis, www.corpusoperis.com, with a remit to establish a new paradigm of innovative workforce.
Also, in May 2010, we had the honor to speak at the Global Summit on Women in Beijing, China.
Last Fall, we were happy to be a speaker at the Southwest Airlines Diversity Summit.
We have also been asked by a number of companies to come in-house and begin your diversity initiatives by engaging in what we do best, beginning the conversation inside your walls [so your people can come out and talk with us, as well!]
Follows are a few of the videos we use to describe a few of the ‘intangibles’ we talk about in our D3 model:
June, 2011 Pam Teagarden spoke at TEDx Great Wall (of China) where she delivered a talk titled, “Does your organization have a brain?”
We have also hosted 3 of our own events. A few of the keynotes are shown below.
Our conversation will not just be written, or even, for that matter, online! We will cover all aspects of the media.
We are currently arranging a collaborative effort with Leslie O’Hare, a TV talk show host in Dallas, Texas. Leslie will debut her second television show soon on an ABC affiliate. We will be a part of her team as correspondent in a beat looking at corporate-to-the-community. Diversity and its related issues of social responsibility, community involvement and shifts in the social contract around employment will be supported by our Soluna conversation. Besides our blog, we will be affiliated with Leslie’s TV show and her magazine. [How wonderful to be in conversations like this, so early in our business life!]
In our conversations with Leslie, we are exploring ways in which our fundraising can be combined to give you more for your sponsorship money.
